  • www.rhssolutions.com — RHS Solutions, a provider of risk, occupational health and safety consulting services, released its Web-based OSHA 10-hour construction safety course in conjunction with the Region X OSHA Training Institute. The online course is part of OSHA's successful Outreach Program for Construction and is intended to provide instruction on a variety of general construction safety and health standards. Students who successfully complete this online course are awarded DOL-OSHA wallet-sized cards of completion. The course retails for $79.95 per student. However, bulk-purchasing discounts are available for multiple students.

  • www.sublocate.com — American Subcontractors Association launched a searchable database to help Internet users locate a construction subcontractor, supplier or service provider nationwide. The site will allow advanced searches of 6,000 ASA members, including searches by construction specialty trade within a specified radius of a city. The search engine includes company profiles of specialty trade contractors, material suppliers, Web service providers, accounting and financial services firms, and attorneys specializing in the construction industry.
