After 23 years with the company, Bob Stevens retired from Multiquip, Carson, Calif. In his tenure with the company, Stevens served as district manager for the Florida territory; earned the title, salesman of the year; joined MQ Power as the welding products manager; and also served as the division's Eastern regional manager. In his final position with the company, Stevens was manager of the Telecommunications Division.

Dana Schrack was promoted to the position of vice president at Mi-T-M Corp., Peosta, Iowa. Schrack has worked for the company for 11 years, most recently as director of sales and marketing.

Tom McGonigle was appointed director of Dressta North America. In addition to operations responsibility, McGonigle will be in charge of marketing and distribution in the North American market.

Southeastern Crane, Tampa, Fla., appointed Mike Davis branch manager for the company's Charlotte, N.C. facility. Davis will be responsible for crane sales in Virginia and the Carolinas, and will oversee all operations at the Charlotte branch.

Hugo Sorensen was appointed president and CEO of Toromont Industries, Toronto. Robert Ogilvie, previously chairman and CEO, has been appointed executive chairman.

St. Catherines, Ont.-based Flagro Industries named William Patterson as its newest sales manager, Canada/United States. In his new role, Patterson will be implementing sales plans for Flagro's line of construction heaters and BBQ grills.

Doug Page was named director of commercial marketing for Briggs & Stratton. In his new position, Page will plan and execute marketing and brand strategies for Briggs & Stratton commercial business.

De Neef Construction Chemicals hired John Wager as its new southwest regional sales manager. Wager has more than 7 years in management experience as the president of a small concrete repair business located in Guam.

To provide better customer service, The Protectoseal Co. added Paul Fregoso as regional sales manager for its container division. Fregoso will be covering the western United States and Canada from his office in Fresno, Calif.

Joseph Fahey has been named to the newly created position of vice president, marketing at Echo Inc., Lake Zurich, Ill. Joe Rund will continue to serve as vice president, sales. This will enhance Echo's ability to serve its dealer and distributor organization as well as its customer base throughout the world, the company said.

Stellar Industries, Garner, Iowa, appointed David Champagne as regional sales manager for the northeastern region of North America. His new responsibilities include servicing the northeastern United States with sales of the Stellar Shuttle hooklift loaders, mechanic cranes and utility bodies, as well as developing and maintaining a distributor network for the aforementioned products.

Dean Smith was appointed vice president of sales at Metal Forms Corp., Milwaukee, Wis. Smith will focus on growing the company's business through a widening international distribution network and factory sales force.

Gehl Co., West Bend, Wis., announced that shareholders at the company's annual meeting re-elected Fred Butler, William Gehl and John Splude as directors to hold office until the company's annual meeting of shareholders in 2004.
