Stafford, Texas-based Kobelco Construction Machinery America LLC promoted Ron Hargrave to vice-president sales & marketing operations. Hargrave plans to expand the company's dealer organization, and increase parts and service support to the dealers. Bobby Alfonso was promoted to sales manager of national accounts for the company. Alfonso will be responsible for managing all excavator national accounts sales efforts in North America. Greg Ballweg was promoted to general manager of North American sales for Kobelco. He will be responsible for managing all excavator sales efforts in North America, including compact excavators and national account sales.

Jeff Horstman was promoted to the customer service department at Stellar Industries. His responsibilities include assisting customers with service issues and maintenance, troubleshooting and taking parts orders.

Glenmac Inc., Jamestown, N.D., added Jeff Caldwell as a territory sales manager. Caldwell will manage the Harley Power Box Rake sales in five southeastern states.

Thomas Caster was appointed vice president & business line manager, wheel loaders, for Volvo Construction Equipment North America, Asheville, N.C. Caster will be responsible for Volvo wheel loader marketing activities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Bridgeport, N.J.-based Godwin Pumps expanded its sales team in North Carolina. William “Craig” Autry and Joe Colclough joined the company as sales engineer. Ty Parrish also joined the company as a sales engineer. Jarrod Williamson joined the company as a sales trainee.

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, appointed Robert Dempsey to sales manager, alloy and hardfacing products. Dempsey has been with the company for more than 20 years.

Terex Corp., Westport, Conn., appointed Thys De Beer as president of Terex Mining. De Beer joins the company from Metso Minerals Inc.

Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co. Inc., Port Orange, Fla., promoted Joseph Belli to sales engineer.

Peter Fritscher is now handling specialty markets as well as key accounts that previously fell under WAP Key Accounts at Alto U.S. Inc., St. Louis. Ken Rothmel and Stan DeLuga are now responsible for the Automotive Market, and Scott Grosze is a product engineer at the company's Springdale location. David Hickmon was named test engineer and Kevin Mitchell was named project engineer, both at the Springdale location. Tom Reynolds joined the company as materials manager and Ronald Schneider was named NODI leader. John Castaldo was appointed vice president of sales for North America and Tom Benton was appointed vice president of marketing and NODI.
