John Deere's new 2112E fixed-blade ejector scraper is designed for the contractor who has a lot of earth to haul. Combined with a John Deere 9020 Series scraper tractor with a short drawbar, the scraper moves up to 42 cubic yards of material per cycle.

The 2112E scraper can be pulled as a single unit or in tandem. It provides improved styling and rear visibility, as well as an industrial-strength yoke-type cast hitch for increased durability and reliability. The 2112E also features the lowest tongue weight ratio on the market, which reduces drawbar weight and lessens the load on the tractor's rear axle, resulting in less wear and tear on the equipment.

According to the company, the scraper makes easy work of any site development, mining or highway construction job. Even though it's increased in strength and capacity, the other features of the 2112E are consistent with Deere's entire line of tough, yet fuel efficient scrapers.

The 2112E also features a hydraulic accumulator, which removes hydraulic pressure spikes created while traveling over rough haul roads. Removing these pressure spikes helps reduce the stress to the scraper mainframe, further enhancing durability and reliability.

“The 2112E can be used in a variety of applications,” says Kent Stickler, product consultant for John Deere Construction & Forestry. “Like all of our scrapers, when combined with a John Deere scraper tractor, it can make precise cuts or fill on a grade, though it really shines as a bulk hauler.”
