These maintenance tips are relevant to all Mi-T-M CW gasoline- and diesel-powered cold-water belt-driven pressure washers. Mi-T-M recommends the following maintenance procedures to maintain peak performance.

Belt Tension Adjustment - Remove the belt guard and loosen the two nuts on each side of the pump (A).

Turn the cap screw (B) clockwise until a half-inch belt deflection is noticed between the pulleys.

- Tighten the side nuts (A). Put a straightedge across both pulleys. If needed, loosen one set of pulley screws and adjust in or out to align. Tighten the pulley screws and check the tension again.

- Replace the belt guard and tighten the fasteners.

Pump - Change the pump oil after the first 25 hours of operation. After that, change it every three months or at 250-hour intervals.

- If oil appears dirty or milky, change more often.

- Use Mi-T-M pump oil (#AW-4085-0016) and fill only to dot on oil sight glass. Do not overfill.
