MEDFORD, N.J. — Medford, N.J.-based E*machinery.net signed an agreement to extend until Feb. 28, 2002, its deadline to complete due diligence and meet its financial obligations.

E*Machinery signed an agreement Sept. 18, to purchase Western Power & Equipment, Delaware, to acquire the business as well as certain assets and liabilities of Western Power & Equipment, Oregon, its wholly owned subsidiary for cash, notes and stock. Closing was subject to due diligence, certain approvals and payment.

Western Power & Equipment, No. 38 on the RER 100, is engaged in the sale, rental and servicing of light, medium-sized and heavy agricultural, industrial and construction equipment, parts and related products manufactured by Case Corp. and other manufacturers such as Terex Corp., Kawasaki, Daewoo International, Kubota Corp. as well as Link Belt.

This extension agreement to the purchase agreement is attached as an exhibit to E*Machinery.net's filing of Form 8K with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
