Lightweight, easy to use, and extremely effective. The new Ditch Witch Subsite 950 R/T system is all of those, allowing operators to quickly and accurately locate buried telephone, power, CATV, gas, sewer and water lines on almost all job sites before work begins.

“It's easy to understand and that's important in the rental industry where you don't have a lot of time to train people,” said Corey Potter, product manager for Subsite electronics.

The 950R/T receiver weighs only 4.5 pounds and it is ergonomically designed to make it easy for the operator to carry the unit around the jobsite all day.

The unit's controls are positioned for one-hand operation and simplified left/right arrow configurations improve productivity. Potter said the unit is superior to its predecessors because it has improved the filtering of external interference. Among the 18 optional frequencies is a new 512 Hertz band. Users also have the ability to choose the frequencies depending on their specific application.

The 950R/T offers locating modes, including active, passive and beacon for greater application-to-application versatility and a unique target identification feature that helps users locate underground lines in congested areas.
