The Fecon Bull Hog model BH80SS mulching attachment can be used for landscape applications such as clearing brushy areas or clearing paths for trails. This attachment is usually rented in tandem with a high-flow carrier, such as a Bobcat S250 skid-steer loader or a T250 compact track loader.

The heavy-duty rotor is impervious to rocks, debris and other materials that can be found in jobsites. Fixed teeth, rather than swinging flails, provide aggressive mulching action and the ability to control the size of the mulched material, while yielding long service life of up to 300 hours. Mulched material can be worked into the ground without detriment to the machine. The heavy-gauge steel body stands up to severe duty applications.

“Fecon's fixed position cutting tools enable the operator greater control of torque and tip speed in processing material,” says Michael Slattery, vice president for Fecon. “This is because the tools are always cutting as long as the rotor is turning versus swing tools that lay back as the rotor speed gets lower. An operator can control torque and tip speed, crucial for the mulching process, by engaging material at a desired speed to appropriately load the rotor for optimal performance and results they desire.”
