Xylem is expanding its dewatering and water-removal services into the Middle East, the company said.

Xylem, a leading water-technology company and owner of the Godwin and Flygt brands, is expanding its dewatering and water-removal services into the Middle East, the company said. Xylem plans to strengthen its dewatering distribution for sales and rental in Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain during the next two years.

“Xylem will continue to provide dedicated dewatering rental services in the Middle East region, which are designed to cater specifically to the needs of local customers,” said Mike Kuchenbrod, vice president of Xylem. “Each rental fleet will be organized so that it aligns with whatever specific services our local customers’ require. Rental services in the region will include installation and dismantling, maintenance on site and 24/7 site supervision. Xylem’s goal is to offer flexible dewatering rental services and to respond to customers’ needs as rapidly as possible. Our rental fleet now also includes the Godwin diesel surface pump, which is ideal for by-passing sewer systems. The Godwin portfolio includes a ‘silent’ model, which specifically is designed for densely populated areas.”
