U.K. crane rental firm Ainscough Crane Hire has acquired competitor Specialist Crane Hire, according to its website. Based in Northwest England and North Wales, with three U.K. offices, Specialist Crane Hire assets include a fleet of truck-mounted cranes, city and all-terrain mobile cranes with lifting capacities from eight to 200 tonnes.
“Specialist Crane Hire is a very successful business with a track record of delivering excellent customer service,” said Robin Richardson, Ainscough Crane Hire managing director. “Acquisitions are a key part of our five-year plan and we are delighted to make an excellent acquisition at the beginning of this process.”
Ainscough Crane Hire is one of four specialist divisions that form The Ainscough Group. ACH has about 30 U.K. branches.
