Riwal Adds Variety of New Aerial Models

Adding to its fleet of environmentally friendly equipment, Riwal has purchased the JLG Hybrid 340AJ articulating boomlift, which offers improved fuel economy compared to the regular diesel model, as well as lower emission and noise levels.

Holland-based international aerial and telehandler rental specialist, has expanded its fleet. Adding to its fleet of environmentally friendly equipment, Riwal has purchased the JLG Hybrid 340AJ articulating boomlift, which offers improved fuel economy compared to the regular diesel model, as well as lower emission and noise levels. Earlier this year, Riwal ordered six JLG 1850SJ units, the world’s tallest boomlifts at 185 feet. Riwal also converted the 80-foot JLG800AJ from diesel to electric, as a sustainable alternative to diesel-powered machines.

Riwal also ordered Genie Z33/18 units, a lightweight articulated electric boom, designed for tasks on sensitive surfaces where space is restricted such as airports, shopping centers and theaters. It also invested in Geniz Z62/40 articulated booms, a newly designed and upgraded version of the Z60, with increased working height. Both Genie models have the Fast Mast boom system that allows rapid movement of the platform from full height to below grade.

“Riwal’s vision is to deliver the best customer experience in the industry,” said Norty Turner, Riwal CEO. “Investing in new types of access equipment demonstrates how we continuously meet the changing demands of our customers and offer them innovative solutions for every project. These innovative units are not only new models for Riwal but also for the entire market.”

Riwal is headquartered in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, and has operations in 17 countries on three continents.
