Polish Rental Association Formed in Warsaw

The Polish Rental Association was launched in Warsaw last week consisting of 16 of the largest companies in the European rental industry. The association’s statutory objectives include promotion of the rental industry, educational activities for consumers, creating awareness and increasing safety at work.

The establishment of the association was initiated in 2014 in cooperation with the European Rental Association.

Founding rental companies include: Atut Rental, BAC, Boels, Cityrent, Clipper, Cramo, Drial, ELA Containers, Gam Polska, GIZO, Kiloutou, Mateco, Ramirent, Riwal, TLC and Touax.

The main aim of the group is to promote rental in Poland. Also PRA will initiate educational activities for customers, increase awareness for safety at work, provide independent statistical information with regards to the market, and promote the principles of safety and environmental protection.

Malgorzata Felicka of Atut Rental was elected president. Two representatives were elected to the management board: Wojciech Lisitcki, country manager for Riwal; and Bernard Michalczewski, country manager for Cramo.
