Leeds Rental Company Buys £2M Worth of JCB Telehandlers

Construction equipment manufacturer JCB has secured a £2 million (about U.S. $3.4 million) order to supply materials-handling machines to Leeds, U.K.-based Chippindale Plant, one of the U.K.’s largest construction equipment rental companies.

Construction equipment manufacturer JCB has secured a £2 million (about U.S. $3.4 million) order to supply materials-handling machines to Leeds, U.K.-based Chippindale Plant, one of the U.K.’s largest construction equipment rental companies, according to the Stoke Sentinel. The deal includes the purchase of 50 Loadall teleschopic handlers, all produced at JCB’s Staffordshire factories.

Chippindale Plant already has 140 JCB Loadall units in its fleet. The deal is expected to be completed later this year.
