International Rental Conference Gearing Up for October in China

The International Rental Conference will be held in Beijing on Oct. 14, the day before the BICES exhibition. The conference will be the highest-profile rental event in the Asia Pacific, featuring speakers from United Rentals, Loxam, Hertz Equipment Rental Co., Volvo Rents, Snorkel and Off-Highway Research.

United Rentals CEO Michael Kneeland will be keynote speaker, with Loxam CEO Gerard Deprez also participating. The conference is being organized by International Rental News and its publisher KHL. Speakers also include Jay Early, vice president Europe/China for Hertz Equipment Rental Co.; David Phillips, managing director of Off-Highway Research; Bud Howard, global rental director, Volvo Rents; and Nick Sowden, president of Snorkel Asia.

Expert speakers on the Chinese rental market include Chai Zhao Yi, managing director of Shanghai Pangyuan Construction Equipment Rental, China’s largest rental company, and Wang Li Chun, chairman of Xuzhou Gongli Road and Bridge Construction Machinery Co., a rental company based in Xuzhou.
