Kiloutou, France’s second-largest equipment rental company and one of Europe’s largest, acquired Polish equipment rental company EWPA Majtser, which operates 20 branches exclusively in Poland, with a fleet of about 4,400 machines. The deal dramatically strengthen’s Kiloutou’s presence in the growing Polish equipment rental market, where Kiloutou is known as Kiloutou Polska.
The companies said EWPA will continue to be known as EWPA Majtser.
The acquisition comes a month after Kiloutou acquired Alain Rental in France, which operates two branches in Angers, France.
Kiloutou has more than 430 branches and had revenue of €471 million (about U.S. $640 million).
