Europe’s Riwal Acquires German Aerial Rental Specialist Adam GmbH

Riwal, international aerial work platform, telehandler and forklift rental specialist, is extending its branch network in Germany with the acquisition of German rental company Adam GmbH.

Riwal, international aerial work platform, telehandler and forklift rental specialist, is extending its branch network in Germany with the acquisition of German rental company Adam GmbH.

Adam GmbH, a rental specialist handling aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklifts, was founded in 1990 by Markus Adam. The company is based in Hanau, near Frankfurt, has 20 employees, two locations and operates a fleet of 110 machines, including boomlifts, scissorlifts and truck-mounted platforms.

Adam GmbH’s managing director Markus Adam will advise on the transition until the end of 2018. Adam GmbH will be integrated into Riwal’s German network, where it now has 12 branches.

Riwal, based in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, is an international rental and sales specialist of aerial work platforms, telehandlers and power generators. It has 67 branches in 16 counties, with more than 16,000 units. Riwal conducts business in more than 70 counties.
