Dutch Forklift Rental Company Buys its First AWPs from Snorkel at Bauma

Dutch rental company Makkina purchased its first three aerial work platforms for its rental fleet at the Bauma show in Munich last month.

Dutch rental company Makkina purchased its first three aerial work platforms for its rental fleet at the Bauma show in Munich last month. Omega, the official Snorkel distributor in The Netherlands invited Makkina owner Jos de Koster to attend the massive trade show where he placed an order for two Snorkel electric slab scissorlifts, a S3219E and S4732E, as well as a Snorkel A38E electric articulating boomlift.

     Makkina is a forklift rental company focused on the rental, sales and service of forklifts into its local market of Kapelle, near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. 

     The scissorlifts feature Snorkel’s twin-door service trays, providing inside-out access to all of the key machine components, as well as a fixed upper control box, saloon-style entry gates, a dual sheer scissor stack design with upsized pins, proportional descent, upsized kingpins, and a gravity-actuated pothole protection system.
