Riwal, international aerial work platform and telehandler rental specialist, will invest €80 million (about U.S. $87.4 million) in its rental fleet during 2015, doubling its 2014 capital expenditure budget, the Netherlands-based company said.

About 60 percent of the investment will be in the renewal of rental fleet, with the remainder for expansion investment. More than 3,000 new aerial work platforms and telehandlers will be purchased, including JLG, Genie and Holland Lift machines, among others.

Riwal will purchase 10 new 185-foot JLG 1850SJ Ultra Booms, the company said, as well as hybrid machines such as the JLG H340J and Holland Lift HL-275 H25. The company also plans to buy new Genie Z33/18 electric articulating boomlifts and Z62/40 engine-powered articulating boomlifts.

The capital expenditure supports our international growth plans and enables us to deliver the best customer experience and the highest levels of safety.”
