United Kingdom equipment rental specialist Vp has acquired the business and assets of two equipment rental activities from construction giant Balfour Beatty Group Ltd. for about £4 million (about U.S. $6.2 million).
Hire Station, a division of Vp, has acquired Balfour Beatty Group’s survey, safety and communication equipment rental business activity, operating from locations in London and Glasgow, including a minimum three-year framework agreement for the supply of these rental services to Balfour Beatty projects in the U.K.
The U.K. Forks division of Vp has acquired Balfour Beatty’s equipment rental business operating from branches in Croydon and Exeter.
The acquisitions will be integrated into the respective Vp divisions.
