Spanish rental chain General de Alquiler de Maquinaria recently acquired Vilatel, an aerial work platform rental company based in Valencia and primarily doing business in the eastern part of the country. Vilatel has 15 branches.

Spanish rental chain General de Alquiler de Maquinaria recently acquired Vilatel, an aerial work platform rental company based in Valencia and primarily doing business in the eastern part of the country. Vilatel has 15 branches.

For GAM, the acquisition expands its market strength in eastern Spain and in the aerial sector. GAM currently has annual revenue of between EU 55 million and 60 million (about U.S. $75 million to about $80 million).

The acquisition is subject to approval from Spanish regulatory authorities.
