Ramirent Finland Inks Deal With National Construction Firm

Ramirent Finland has signed a five-year rental agreement with Oka Oy, a subsidiary of Lemminkainen Group, a construction company based in Kouvola, operating through five branches in southern Finland. Oka is also active in Russia. Oka is active in renovation and new construction of residential and nonresidential building as well as industrial and logistical facilities.

“We have a long experience of working with Ramirent,” said Jorma Tamminen, managing director of Oka Oy. “With this agreement, we can continue our good cooperation and at the same time release capital that has been tied up in our machinery operation. This solution adds flexibility and simplifies our fleet management.”

Based in Helsinki, Finland, Ramirent has operations in 13 Scandinavian, Central and Eastern European countries. It has 80 branches in Finland with annual revenue in Finland of €155 million (about U.S. $225 million) in 2008.
