MMG and AEM Plan India Construction Trade Show

Messe Munchen GmbH, organizers of Bauma, the world’s largest construction equipment trade show, and the Milwaukee-based American Association of Equipment Manufacturers have reached an agreement to organize an international construction trade show in Mumbai in 2011. The organizers plan to establish a joint venture to run the show.

Messe Munchen GmbH, organizers of Bauma, the world’s largest construction equipment trade show, and the Milwaukee-based American Association of Equipment Manufacturers have reached an agreement to organize an international construction trade show in Mumbai in 2011. The organizers plan to establish a joint venture to run the show.

“Industry has given a positive response to the idea of an international trade fair for the construction industry in the growth market of India,” said Eugen Egetenmeir, deputy managing director of MMG. “Through the cooperation between Messe Munchen and AEM, the new event is set to quickly establish itself as an international platform.”

MMG organizes more than 40 trade shows in Munich as well as trade shows in Asia, Russia, the Middle East and South America. In addition to Milwaukee, AEM has branches in Washington, D.C., Ottawa, Beijing and Brussels and organizes a number of trade shows, including ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas every three years.
