Riwal, aerial work platform and telehandler specialist based in the Netherlands, has named Søren Rosenkrands chief operating officer of the international equipment rental company. Rosenkrands has 23 years of experience in the aerial rental industry and has been a key member of Riwal’s management team since 2001.
Rosenkrands most recently served as regional director of the Nordic countries, Germany and Poland. Also he has been chairman of the Danish Rental Association since 2008.
As COO, Rosenkrands will oversee the departments of fleet management, technical, safety, procurement and business analysis; define and monitor annual budgets, plans and goals for each area of responsibility; identify operations performance improvement opportunities and lead their implementation; and as a member of the Executive Board, identify cross-discipline improvement opportunities for Riwal.
Rosenkrands will report to CEO Norty Turner and will be based in Riwal’s Dordrecht, Netherlands, headquarters.
Riwal has operations in 16 countries and has a fleet of 13,000 units. Riwal is believed to be the largest privately held access rental company in the world.
