Volvo Construction Equipment Rents last week signed a franchise for a new Volvo CE Rents equipment rental center in metropolitan Minneapolis.
KD&D Inc., New Prague, Minn., has entered into a Volvo CE Rents franchise agreement to own and operate Volvo CE Rents centers in a rapidly growing construction market. The new equipment rental center will open for business within the next few weeks. This is the second Volvo CE Rents franchise operation for the Minnesota market; the first opened in Lino Lakes several months ago.
Volvo CE Rents equipment centers are independently owned and operated franchises within the Volvo Construction Equipment rental program. Principal Volvo products for its franchised rental centers include its full line of compact excavators and wheel loaders and the company’s backhoe and skid steer loaders.
Volvo CE Rents began its equipment rental franchise initiative in 2001. The company now has equipment rental centers open in 22 U.S. states and Canada. The Asheville, N.C.-based company is No. 19 on the RER 100.
