Volvo Rents has announced the opening of a new Volvo Rents equipment rental franchise in Nashville, Tenn.
Tennessee Rental LLC, owned by Curtiss Shewmaker, has opened the third Volvo Rents franchise in the state. The other Volvo rental centers are in Chattanooga and Memphis.
Volvo Rents began its equipment rental franchise initiative in 2001 and now has equipment rental centers open in 24 U.S. states and Canada. The company is expanding its operations in Europe with rental centers open in Portugal and Spain and has recently signed franchise agreements with a company in Italy.
The Asheville, N.C.-based company is No. 16 on the RER 100.
