United Rentals last week opened a branch in Shelby Township, Mich. The 17,000-square-foot facility will serve customers throughout the greater Detroit metropolitan area.
“The entire region north of the city of Detroit is seeing tremendous growth in both residential and non-residential construction,” said branch manager Bill Mason. “We are opening our new branch in the heart of that growth to deliver added convenience to contractors, both as an equipment rental source and a one-stop shop for supplies and service.”
United now has five branches in the Detroit area. Based in Greenwich, Conn., United Rentals is No. 1 on the RER 100 with more than 730 branches.
