Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Rental Service Corp. last week named Keith Sawottke chief financial officer for RSC Equipment Rental succeeding Erik Olsson who remains with the company as chief operating officer. The company promoted Tricia Chiodo to vice president and controller of RSC, taking over Sawottke’s duties.

Sawottke joined the company as controller and spent the past three years with the company as vice president of finance and accounting. As CFO, he will oversee all finance, accounting and treasury activities for RSC Equipment Rental and Prime Energy.

“Keith has great experience in finance and business and has contributed greatly to stabilizing our company and helping with the financial turn-around,” said RSC president and CEO Tom Zorn. “He has been a leader in developing financial systems to manage the company’s rental fleet.” Sawottke’s corporate financial experience includes top financial management positions with Fortune 500 companies. He earned his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University and is a certified public accountant in the state of Arizona.

Chiodo is responsible for all accounting and accounts payable activities for RSC Equipment Rental and Prime Energy. Before this promotion, Chiodo worked as controller for RSC and also held high-level finance positions with leading equipment and financial organizations.
