Ritchie Bros. to Hold Jackson Auction

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world’s largest industrial auctioneer, will conduct its first unreserved auction of 2008 in Jackson, Miss., Jan. 29. The auction will feature equipment from Puckett Machinery Co., Addison Construction Inc., and other owners.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world’s largest industrial auctioneer, will conduct its first unreserved auction of 2008 in Jackson, Miss., Jan. 29. The auction will feature equipment from Puckett Machinery Co., Addison Construction Inc., and other owners.

Puckett Machinery, the Caterpillar dealer for central and southern Mississippi, will sell almost 50 items in the auction. Addison, a general contractor based in Purvis, Miss., will sell more than 30 machines in the auction.

“We turn over our equipment every four to five years,” said Scott Addison, owner. “We like to keep our equipment up to date so that it stays efficient and productive. The equipment in this auction is all well maintained and regularly serviced, and will all be sold completely unreserved.
