Ramirent AB, the Swedish wholly-owned subsidiary of multi-national rental company Ramirent Plc, last week acquired Stockholm, Sweden-based rental company Hyresmaskiner I Stockhold AB, which trades as Tidermans. The company’s annual volume is about €10 million, and with four facilities strengths Ramirent’s position in Stockholm and Uppsala, Sweden.

Tidermans primarily rents to contractors and industrial facilities and has a geographic presence that complements Ramirent’s existing network, Ramirent said.

“This acquisition brings us closer to our customers and is in line with Ramirent’s strategy of growing in select markets through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions of small and midsize operations,” said Ramirent managing director Mikael Oberg. Ramirent now has 53 branches in Sweden.
