NationsRent last week announced it has been appointed by Sullivan-Palatek as an authorized dealer for its portable air compressor division for Texas and Louisiana. Selected NationsRent stores within each market will serve as stocking dealerships to sell and service the full line of Sullivan-Palatek rotary screw air compressors, along with construction air tools.
With the agreement, NationsRent is continuing its transition into a full-service equipment solutions provider, after recently signing agreements to represent Case Construction Equipment and Link-Belt in various markets. As a factory authorized Sullivan dealer, NationsRent will offer sales, service, parts and technical assistance.
“We plan to continue to grow and expand our sales and service offerings throughout 2005, and the dealership sales model fits nicely into those plans,” said NationsRent CEO Jeff Putman. “NationsRent is always on the lookout for quality lines to represent through our stores and we are honored to have been chosen by Sullivan-Palatek.”
Based in Michigan City, Ind., Sullivan-Palatek manufactures electric and diesel-driven high-performance rotary screw air compressors, along with accessory items including air dryers, filters, remediation systems and construction air tools.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., NationsRent is No. 6 on the RER 100.
