MTA Distributors celebrated its 25th anniversary with a new building dedication on August 2. Employees and guests were present for the dedication of the new 15,000-square-foot warehouse. The site is prepared for another 10,000-square-foot expansion when needed in the future. This is in addition to their 55,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility in Whites Creek, Tenn.

David Ace Harrington, CEO and president, said that MTA will continue to invest in the future through employees, management development, office improvements, improved computer systems and technology while searching for additional markets and opportunities to provide continued growth. “We thank our vendors/manufacturers and dealers for their past support and future opportunities,” he said. “We do not want to be a good company, we want to be a great company. We will continue to pay attention to the business basics that have provided MTA’s current success as these same basics will insure the next 25 years to be even more successful.”

MTA opened its doors on July 10, 1980, selling primarily Homelite construction equipment and consumer products, later adding equipment rental. MTA now supplies over 180 different lines of product.
