Sugar Grove, Ill.-based Metrolift, expanded its service department with the recent acquisition of a building that contains additional service bays and a paint booth. Metrolift is dedicating this 10,000-plus-square-foot facility, located on property adjacent to Metrolift’s facility, to servicing customer-owned units.

“We are dedicating this facility to customer-owned unit repairs and anything out of the ordinary coming out of our fleet,” Metrolift CEO Rick Dahl told RER. “It took us awhile to get it the way we wanted it, but now it is 100-percent operational.”

Metrolift is primarily dedicated to rental and sales of aerial work platforms but also has a growing fleet of rough-terrain forklifts and compact earthmoving equipment.
