ConExpo Asia 2007 Sets Attendance, Exhibition Records

ConExpo Asia 2007 set records for number of attendees and exhibitors and amount of exhibit space, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, which organized the show, said last week. The show was held December 4-7 at the Chinese Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, China.

About 28,000 registered industry professionals from almost 100 countries attended the show, which more than doubled in size from the previous year with more than 450 Chinese and international exhibitors and more than 100,000 square meters of space.

The next ConExpo Asia show will be held in 2009. During 2008, AEM plans a knowledge-sharing tour throughout China for equipment users, with training courses to focus on safety operations, operating efficiencies and financial and environmental improvement processes.
