About 4,500 attendees went to the Australian Construction Equipment Expo in Sandown, Australia, last month, an increase of 22 percent from its last event. About 200 companies exhibited. Attendees included potential equipment buyers from construction, government, quarry, municipalities, farmers, rental companies, demolition and road sectors. Seventy-five percent of attendees reported on their registration form that they were decision makers for their companies.

Exhibitions and Trade Fairs and the Western Australian branch of the Australian Associated Equipment Distributors are planning a construction and mining trade show in Perth, Australia in March or April, 2006, and ACE will return to Sandown in February or March of 2007.
