Caterpillar

The new 322C hydraulic excavator from Caterpillar offers improved performance through increased horsepower and hydraulic flow, a new cab and interior layout for easier operation and new work tool options for expanded versatility. It weighs about 53,400 pounds and is powered by the Cat 3126 TA engine. The 6-cylinder, turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine produces 165 net horsepower, about 8 percent more net power than the previous model. The engine design reduces noise and vibration for improved operator comfort, and the automatic engine speed control maximizes fuel efficiency and minimizes sound.

Kenco

The mass excavator long stick from Kenco is designed for excavating in the roughest applications where excavator footage is unstable. It increases a machine's digging capability. Also, the attachment creates machine versatility and allows quick change to original stick. The excavator long-reach attachments are available in 10- to 30-foot lengths and custom built for each excavator.

Rosco

Rosco Mfg. offers the SpreadPro chipspreader that features a variable width aggregate hopper, ClearView enclosed cab with visibility-enhanced placement and ergonomic controls. The hopper is continuously expandable up to 16 feet, allowing the operator to change the spread width during operation. The cab is positioned at the front of the vehicle, making it easier for the operator to clearly see the work surface and potential obstacles. The operator controls all chipspreader movement and function with a steering wheel and joystick, and cab monitors indicate if more or less aggregate is needed, how much aggregate is being metered onto the work surface and other operation parameters.

New Holland

The 6-wheel drive AD250 dump truck from New Holland is designed for use on sites with inclined and soft surfaces such as housing developments, industrial parks, golf courses, landfills, land reclamation sites and dam construction sites. The center-pin oscillation mechanism and ground following rear tandem keep the truck wheels on the ground at all times, maintaining the truck's stability even on rough terrain. There is an inter-axle differential locking system to extricate the vehicle from soft ground. It hauls 13.9 cubic yards (SAE truck load) or 17.4 cubic yards (heap load).

Hypac

The new C560B pneumatic tire roller from Hypac offers faster travel speeds for greater productivity and an ergonomic operator's station for improved comfort and convenience. A more powerful 100-horsepower Cummins diesel engine allows the C560B to work at speeds up to 15.5 miles per hour, almost two miles per hour faster than the model it replaces. The redesigned control panel and operator's compartment reduces operator fatigue and simplifies operation, while a streamlined frame design provides improved visibility. For ease of transport, the C560B's ROPS structure is bolted onto the top surface of the roller's frame for quick removal.

Rammer

The Rammer G Series line is designed for carriers with weight limits from 55,000 pounds to 220,000 pounds and features hammers with working weights from 5,200 pounds to 14,500 pounds. The hammers provide high productivity in oversize rock, concrete and primary breaking applications and are an effective alternative to drill and blast applications in many instances. Hydraulics are optimized to provide maximum breaking power on all blows. A membrane accumulator protects the carrier from hydraulic pulsation as well as providing continuous performance in both horizontal and vertical applications.
