Yancey Bros., an Austell, Ga.-based Caterpillar dealer announced plans to move its Macon facility to a new business park, thus moving from a 24,000-square-foot facility to a 40,000-square-foot facility. The larger facility will enable Yancey Bros. to hire more service technicians, expand from 50 to 75 employees over the next five years, and have greater parts-stocking capability. Yancey Bros. officials said the move will enable it to reduce equipment downtime.

The new facility will also serve the company’s rental services division, as well as its large earthmoving and agricultural products divisions.

Yancey Bros. recently moved into a new facility in Dublin, Ga. The company has 18 locations. The company will soon be moving to a new facility in McDonough, Ga., and is tripling its space in its Calhoun, Ga., location.

With 13 rental branches, Yancey Bros. is No. 49 on the RER 100.
