Meridian, Idaho-based Western States Equipment Co. last week announced it will sponsor the upcoming Western States Cat 6th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament benefiting the Idaho Ronald McDonald House. The event takes place on Saturday, May 30 at Black Dog Clays in Boise, Idaho.

The goal this year is to raise $60,000 for the Idaho Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House is 100-percent funded through charitable donations. The local chapter hosts two major fundraising events a year, including the Sporting Clays Tournament.

“We could not be more excited to be a part of this event,” said Western States’ president Tom Harris. “Every year our customers, partners, employees and community rally together for this amazing and worthwhile event.”

Registration for the Lewis Class event is $125. Registration fee includes the 100 bird main event, all-new 12-gauge Winchester ammunition, lunch and a participant gift. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Idaho Ronald McDonald House.

In addition, a silent auction will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Among the items available are an artist’s proof of an original work created for the event by Ward Hooper, a commemorative shotgun, Southwest Airlines tickets, and more.

Individuals or groups interested in participating in the tournament can contact Ellie at the Idaho Ronald McDonald House at (208) 336-5478 or [email protected] or visit the Ronald McDonald House website at www.rmhidaho.org. Corporate teams and individual registrations are currently being accepted.
