On behalf of Genie Industries, the award was accepted by Gerry Cochrane, Southeast region vice president, and Steve Headden, regional sales manager. The Vendor of the Year award is given based on quality of the company’s national account program (financing options and overall program); quality/reliability of products; availability and lead times; parts pricing; warranty/after-sale service; local sales and service support; and marketing support.

Barry Natwick, president and CEO of Volvo Rents, and Galen Hopper, Volvo Rents fleet manager, presented the award during Volvo Rents’ Vendor Day.

“The Genie Industries team, led by Gerry Cochrane and Steve Headden, have earned this award on behalf of our franchise owners,” said Natwick. “Our entire organization recognizes and is appreciative for the excellence of their products and support.”

Over 50 construction industry-related vendors participated in the eighth annual Volvo Rents franchise convention.
