Volvo Rents Inks Multi-Year Deal With Texada

Volvo Rents has entered into a multi-year agreement to license Texada Software’s Systematic Rental Management Version 9 to support the company’s long-term franchise growth. Volvo Rents currently uses an earlier version of Texada’s product suite throughout its 71 North American rental centers and has been a Texada customer for about nine years.

“We recommitted to Texada due to their understanding of the construction equipment rental business,” said Robert Puhlmann, chief information officer and vice president of process and systems for Volvo Rents. “Their desire to work with the Volvo Rents team is impressive and has brought an increased level of service to our organization.”

The Systematic Rental Management product is an ERP system powered by Texada Software providing rentals, sales, reservations, quotations, work orders, maintenance scheduling, inventory control, purchasing and integrated accounting functionality.

Based in Asheville, N.C., Volvo Rents is No. 18 on the RER 100, with 71 branches in North America, 89 in Europe, three in India and one in Mexico.
