Bill Ellis, franchise owner of Volvo Rents stores in Somerville, N.J., and Langhorne, Pa., was recently named Supplier of the Year by the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter.

Jeff Zeh, president and CEO of ABC, said Ellis’ active involvement in the chapter, notably his support of the organization’s new apprenticeship training facility, stood out among award nominees. “Bill’s commitment to ABC is an extension of the quality of service Volvo Rents has provided to our contractor members,” Zeh said. The chapter represents more than 400 members throughout the Delaware Valley and is one of the leading ABC chapters in the country.

Ellis opened his Volvo Rents store in Langhorne in 2005 after 12 years in institutional equity sales on Wall Street.

Volvo Rents is a division of Volvo Construction Equipment North America and all Volvo Rents centers are independently owned. Volvo Rents, No. 16 on the RER 100, has 76 rental centers in North America, 66 in Europe and one in Mexico.
