Vandalia Rental is investing $3 million into building a new location in Franklin, Ohio, to expand its business into the south Dayton and north Cincinnati markets, the Dayton Business Journal reports.

The DBJ reports that Vandalia Rental is beginning construction this month on a 17,500-square-foot facility, which will be visible from Interstate 75. It will be the company’s second location. According to Vandalia Rental’s owner, Kurt Barney, the company is already doing business in the area and its goal is to make its service more convenient and reduce response times.

The company expects to open the new facility in the spring of 2016 and create 10 new jobs, and add five more jobs within a year. The company already has 44 employees and expects to have 50 by year’s end.

Vandalia Rental has branches in Vandalia and Butler Township, Ohio.
