The Midwest showed substantial gains in volume, with Wisconsin leading the pack. The average age of resale equipment got younger in September, the research showed, with the average age of four-wheel-drive articulated wheel loaders dropping 1.1 years.
The number of lift trucks entering the resale market increased by 14.2 percent, the study showed, with the biggest decline in price in the northeastern United States.
