United Rentals has added two locations to its specialty branch network with new rental centers in Plano, Texas, and Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, dedicated to tool-management services. The new facilities will serve the Dallas and Toronto metropolitan areas, respectively.
The United Rentals Tools and Industrial Solutions division provides tool management services for short-term and long-term project needs, including maintenance and report, delivery, computerized tracking and reporting of tool usage. The company offers onsite, secure storage through the rental of a mobile tool room.
“The availability of the proper tools in safe working order is one of the most important components of jobsite productivity,” said Patrick Lowry, vice president, tools and industrial solutions, United Rentals. “We now have 14 dedicated locations supporting the United Rentals branch network in offering tool management as part of our total jobsite solutions for customers.”
United Rentals offers equipment rental, trench safety, temporary power, climate control, industrial tool and technology services through 822 rental branches in North America. Based in Stamford, Conn., United Rentals is No. 1 on the RER 100.
