Slidell, La.-based Tuff Equipment Rentals recently held a grand re-opening party, several months after opening its new location. The company’s original facility was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The grand re-opening was held the day after Tuff hosted a meeting of the American Rental Association’s Louisiana chapter.

The Nov. 7 chapter meeting started off with a golf outing, followed by a meal at the rental center. More than 60 guests attended, including members and vendors. After dinner, the meeting was held and officers for 2008 were elected, followed by a discussion on theft of service laws. Tuff owner Ralph Kastner Jr. was elected 2008 president of ARA of Louisiana.

More than 200 guests attended the Nov. 8 grand re-opening party. The new facility has 28,500 square feet on 3.2 acres.
