G.C. Andersen Partners, a New York-based investment bank, has closed a senior credit facility for A-AirComp LLC, an affiliate of Acme Lift. A-AirComp is a strategic alliance that began in January 2016 between Acme Lift and Sullair LLC that enabled Acme Lift, which specializes in the re-rental of large aerial equipment and telehandlers, to expand its product offering to include large, mobile air compressors.

“Acme Lift is the world’s largest wholesale rental company and has a unique and highly effective wholesale business model that enables us to provide the safest and newest fleet of large aerial lifts and air compressors to our customers,” said Woody Weld, Acme Lift chairman and CEO. “The local, regional and national equipment rental companies partner with Acme enabling them to provide their customer with a full complement of equipment including specialized higher-lifting aerial units and large air compressors.”

The senior credit facility was provided by Amarillo National Bank and will further expand A-AirComp’s air compressor fleet. G.C. Andersen Partners Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor and placement agent. During the past five years, G.C. Andersen has advised in transactions in the industrial services and equipment rental industries with an aggregate transaction value of more than $500 million.

“The alliance between Sullair and Acme Lift gives us yet another avenue to expand our large portable line,” said Russell Warner, Sullair vice president rental and infrastructure. “We are pleased to offer our channel partners an additional option outside of purchasing outright and the ability to supplement their operations by performing service and warranty work on the units. It also presents our channel partners with new opportunities to bid larger jobs without having to invest significant capital.”
