Feb. 20, 2013

Titan Machinery said this week that it has acquired Tucson Tractor Co., consisting of one Case Construction equipment dealership located in the Arizona city. TTC is strategically located in southern Arizona and well positioned to serve a five-county area, Titan said. The dealership has been in business for more than 45 years and complements Titan’s existing Case Construction equipment dealerships in Phoenix and Flagstaff, Ariz.

In its most recently reported fiscal year, TTC generated revenue of about $7 million.

“The dealership is well located to serve a vast area and has strong market potential for new and used construction equipment and parts and service sales, as well as for associated rental demand,” said Titan Machinery chairman and CEO David Meyer.

Titan Machinery, based in West Fargo, N.D., has 105 North American dealerships in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Colorado and Arizona, as well as 13 European dealerships in Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia, with a particularly strong representation of Case, New Holland and Kobelco. With a growing rental presence, Titan is No. 41 on the RER 100.
