Compact equipment manufacturer Takeuchi showed several products at the Rental Show, including the TB210R compact excavator and TL8 compact track loader. The TB210R features a minimal tail-swing design and a retractable undercarriage, a backfill blade that can go from 40 feet 2 inches wide down to 29 feet 5 inches, and a new foldable ROPS/TOPS canopy that can reduce the machine’s overall height.

Other upgrades include pilot-operated joystick controls with an ISO/SAE control pattern change valve, selector vale, and pilot accumulator. Pilot controls are designed for greater productivity and reduced operator fatigue, while the change valve allows the operator to choose a preferred operational pattern. To enhance attachment versatility, the TB210R features a selector valve for one-way and two-way auxiliary hydraulic flow.

A new Kubota D7220E4B three-cylinder powers the TB210R and delivers almost 22 percent more horsepower than the unit’s predecessor, the TB108.

The TL8 is a new addition to the Takeuchi track loader lineup, featuring a radial lift loader design, weighing about 8,345 pounds and has a tip load of 6,020 pounds. A 74.3 horsepower turbocharged Tier 4 Final engine powers the unit. Rated operating capacity has been increased by more than 13 percent on the TL8 and can be boosted more than 10 percent by adding optional rear counterweights.

Inside the operator’s station is a new LCD monitor panel and switch bank that helps improve performance and functionality by providing a wider range of operational information.
