Sunstate Equipment announced this week it is joining the SmartEquip Network. Each of the company’s rental locations will connect to Sunstate’s suppliers, allowing parts and service technicians to receive real-time electronic product support information, dynamically customized to the specific needs of each individual asset. Also, users will be able electronically to source parts and other supplies directly from vendors and their dealers, giving rise to significant time savings and accuracy improvements across the supply chain, while helping drive the company’s parts inventory management. More than 65 manufacturers are part of the SmartEquip network.
