Stafford Promotes Crane Sales Expert Jones

Stafford Equipment recently named Wally Jones senior vice president, crane sales. Jones, based out of Stafford’s Ashland, Va., location, joined the company in 2005 when Stafford acquired Atlantic Coast Crane.

Stafford Equipment recently named Wally Jones senior vice president, crane sales. Jones, based out of Stafford’s Ashland, Va., location, joined the company in 2005 when Stafford acquired Atlantic Coast Crane.

“Wally Jones has provided crane knowledge and guidance to our crane salesmen all across the organization,” said Stafford CEO and president John Wall. “With this move, Wally will now utilize his nearly half-century’s worth of crane-selling experience to concentrate totally on crane sales, from Virginia down to Georgia.”

Stafford, based in Tifton, Ga., has 11 branches. The company began in 1951 as Reliable Tractor. The company represents Terex, Kobelco, Tadano, Shuttlelift and Broderson cranes, as well as Manitex lifting equipment, Link-Belt excavators; Terex construction equipment, trucks and roadbuilding equipment; Kobelco excavators; Liebherr crawler loaders; Hyundai equipment; Moxy trucks; Bomag compaction equipment and more.

Stafford is No. 94 on the RER 100, with $10.5 million in 2006 rental revenue and $155 million in total revenue.
