RSC Holdings Elects Board Member, Expands Board to 12 Directors

The board of directors of RSC Holdings last week announced it has elected Donald Roof as an independent director and member of its audit committee, effective immediately. The appointment of Roof expands the board to 12 members.

The board of directors of RSC Holdings last week announced it has elected Donald Roof as an independent director and member of its audit committee, effective immediately. The appointment of Roof expands the board to 12 members.

Roof recently retired as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Joy Global, a worldwide manufacturer of mining equipment. Prior to joining Joy, Roof was president and CEO of Heafner Tire Group, where he had also served as chief financial officer. He currently serves as a director and audit committee chairperson of Accuride Corp.

Additionally, on May 18, the board of RSC elected James Ozanne as an independent director and chairperson of its audit committee.

Ozanne is a senior executive with General Electric Capital Corp. and US West Capital Corp. and is currently a principal of Greenrange Partners, a venture capital investment company. He also serves as a director of Distributed Energy Systems and of Financial Security Assurance Holdings Ltd.

Simultaneous with their election to RSC Holdings, both Ozanne and Roof were elected to the board of directors of its wholly owned operating subsidiary, RSC Equipment Rental.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based RSC Holdings is the holding company for the operating entity, RSC Equipment Rental, which is No. 3 on the RER 100.
